Usage of JOPUX appliances
Is provided due to the 3-clause BSD license. This license allows unlimited redistribution of the appliance for any purpose as long as its copyright notices and the license's disclaimers of warranty are maintained. The license also contains a clause restricting use of the names of contributors for endorsement of a derived work without specific permission.

Usage of JOPUX documentation
Is provided – when applicable – due to the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL).
This license giving readers the rights to copy, redistribute, and modify (only when without "invariant sections" restrictions) a work and requires all copies and derivatives to be available under the same license. Copies may also be sold commercially, but, if produced in larger quantities (greater than 100), the original document or source code must be made available to the work's recipient.

Usage of underlying technologies
JOPUX appliances are built upon various underlying technologies.
The Linux distribution openSUSE is the core component.
It contains a range of underlying components provided by various providers.
On top of this we may extend with additional softwares provided by other providers.
Is provided due to the openSUSE license agreement.
